more projects..nursery room!

We just cant get enough! When Dean and I get an idea in our heads we do it RIGHT THEN!! So, I had a brilliant idea to do decorate our nursery! I know, I know, I'm crazy! Because I'm NOT pregnant and wont be for a while! But, we just had to do it... so here our our before and after pictures!! Dean has to hold me back from getting the crib! hahha He thinks I'm crazy but he loves me!

long lonely weekend...

So this weekend was the first weekend Dean and I have been apart since we've been married.. and let me just say it's NOT FUN!!! He went to California with his dad to help tile his grandpa's beach condo. I was going to go with him, but I had SO much to get done this weekend. I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend and needed to do the invitations, prepare for sharing time in primary, and just a bunch of other things... PLUS, the beach was cold anyways.. but, now having Dean gone since Thursday I would change my mind in a second! I've missed him SOOO much. It's not fun to sleep by yourself. It can get pretty scary at night. Good thing I have my Roxy girl! :) But, I woke up this beautiful sunday morning soooo happy knowing that my husband will be home today when I get home from church!!! Cant wait to kiss his face off! :) Just thought I'd share! :) I LOVE MY HUSBAND MORE THAN LIFE!

So, I threw a Halloween party at my house this year and it was SO much fun! We ate lots of yummy food, carved pumpkins, played charades, and just LAUGHED all night long! Thanks to everyone who came! We'll have to have another party soon!

So here is my department at SkyWest. We were Thriller this year, of course in memory of M.J! haha I even taught them all the Thriller dance (my version) and we did it in front of everyone at SkyWest. We always have a competition. We of course took first place! It was so funny! I know, I look pretty nasty.... Then, later in the day we have the little kids come trick or treating around our desks so my sisters bring all their kids every year. It's a blast.

Man, I'm not very good at this... I have a month in between every post. But I promise to do better. I have a lot of pictures to post.. lots has been going on. We've been busy! Here are some more pictures of our "House Projects" We layed sawed in our backyard about a month ago. We love it! And so does Roxy. It makes our backyard look so much bigger! And a big thanks to all of those that came to help! You are all so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Couldnt have done it with out you... well I'm sure we could've but we would've died in the process! :)

Dean is absolutely INCREDIBLE!!!! We didnt think we would finish it this quick. But Dean and I are so impatient when it comes to stuff like this. We just like to get stuff done. Just to name what Dean did to give you an idea of the hard work he put into our basement; ripped out the drywall, replaced drywall, textured walls, painted, layed tile, grouted floor, and so many other little things. And I cant forget to mention my Grandpa Visser, he is soooooo awesome! He would come over and help Dean out as much as possible. We love having the basement done now, it so fun to watch movies down on the couch!!
