My sister in law...

I've been meaning to post these pictures for a while now. My sister in law had my name for Christmas this year and her being an awesome photographer she told me that she wanted to take pictures of us for her portfolio! So, when I opened my present she made the cutest collage of pictures that she took of Dean and I. I told her a while back that I've always wanted to have tire swing pictures... so she found a swing and took our pictures on it! haha it was so fun. Just thought I'd share some pictures she took. so much to catch up on...

I have been meaning to do a post for a while now. But life has been so busy. First off I want to say Happy Birthday to my husband. It was December 23rd! Haha I know forever ago. I'm a slacker. But he had a great day because I took the day off from work to celebrate with him! Then, our first Christmas was amazing! My incredibly talented husband made me a jewelry box! I can't wait to post pictures of it! Now today is New Years eve and I am sitting in the LAX airport on my way to Hawaii with my wonderful husband! We are going to Hawaii for 10 days. Its going to be so nice! But, bitter sweet. Dean is actually not going to be flying home with me. He is going to be in Hawaii working for my BF dad. And will come home the 2nd week of February. :( let's just say I'm going to be making a bunch of trips to hawaii these next couple weeks. But, my church calling is going to make it a little difficult for me. I just got put as the 2nd counselor in the young womens. I'm kinda nervous, but excited at the sametime. I'm going to miss my primary class, and miss teaching with Dean. It was the saddest thing one little girl in our class just bawled when we told them we weren't going to be teaching them anymore! We are loved! Haha... Well, I'm going to enjoy my vacation with my husband and try to be strong and not cry every second when I get home! I love my husband so much!!!!!!! I'll post pictures when I get home. I'm sure I'll be doing a lot of blogging! :)

Thanksgiving Weekend

This Thanksgiving was so much fun! It's been a nice long relaxing weekend. It was my parents year to have Thanksgiving at their house. But Dean and I woke up extra early so Dean could play in the turkey bowl up in Winchester with his dad and brothers. Then, we went down to my parents and stuffed our faces, and then played in our own little turkey bowl. It was a blast. All the girls and their husbands, my brother, and my mom and dad! Lets just say I'm a little sore, it's been a while that I've ran like that! :) I am so thankful for both my families, and love them so much! On Friday Dean and I went up to his parents house and worked on crafts all day! Dean is building my Christmas present in his dad's shop and I am making stockings for Dean and I and our future family! I'm not the best sower but I'm working on it! And I'm having a lot of fun. We also put up our Christmas tree.. but not over thanksgiving weekend. We did it like a week ago. If you cant tell we are wearing the same thing when we were painting the room. We did it all in one night. We felt very ambitious. :) OH and I almost forgot to explain the picture with all the drinks! My brother was in charge of drinks this year... well, let me explain we've never been assigned anything to bring for Thanksgiving my mom pretty much does it all. but this year we all brought something. Jason was in charge of drinks. That was it. And he took it to an extreme. He was so offended that drinks was ALL he was in charge of! haha He wanted to bring more I guess? So, I had to take a picture of ALL the drinks he brought! He is a crack up!

more projects..nursery room!

We just cant get enough! When Dean and I get an idea in our heads we do it RIGHT THEN!! So, I had a brilliant idea to do decorate our nursery! I know, I know, I'm crazy! Because I'm NOT pregnant and wont be for a while! But, we just had to do it... so here our our before and after pictures!! Dean has to hold me back from getting the crib! hahha He thinks I'm crazy but he loves me!

Dean and I got new phones this weekend. A BLACKBERRY! So I'm doing this post on my phone. Just wanted to try it out :)

long lonely weekend...

So this weekend was the first weekend Dean and I have been apart since we've been married.. and let me just say it's NOT FUN!!! He went to California with his dad to help tile his grandpa's beach condo. I was going to go with him, but I had SO much to get done this weekend. I'm throwing a baby shower for a friend and needed to do the invitations, prepare for sharing time in primary, and just a bunch of other things... PLUS, the beach was cold anyways.. but, now having Dean gone since Thursday I would change my mind in a second! I've missed him SOOO much. It's not fun to sleep by yourself. It can get pretty scary at night. Good thing I have my Roxy girl! :) But, I woke up this beautiful sunday morning soooo happy knowing that my husband will be home today when I get home from church!!! Cant wait to kiss his face off! :) Just thought I'd share! :) I LOVE MY HUSBAND MORE THAN LIFE!
