30 Weeks and goodbye Samoa..

I have soooo many emotions going through my mind right now. I am getting SO excited, anxious, scared, nervous...excited.. did I mention SCARED.. haha I am so nervous for the labor part. I have no idea what to expect, or how it will go. It has always been something I've been scared about. I hope it goes flawless, and painless.. HAHA RIGHT!! I've been debating whether or not to get an epidural. I'm not against getting one at all.. But, I just hear there are pros and cons to both. I've always just said I will decide in the moment.
This past week I must say, as hard as it is to admit.. I have been SO moody.. I feel like I haven't been moody at all during my pregnancy until this past week. I am just irritable, cranky, and mean... I know I'm being that way too, and I just can't help it. haha.. I hope it will pass. :) (So does Dean!!)

This week is an exciting week though.. I am flying HOME.. back to UTAH! I am leaving American Samoa! I am really looking forward to it. It will be nice to get back to the "real world" haha.. I've missed... Wal Mart, Cafe Rio, Pizza/Pasta Factory, brushing my teeth with the faucet water, I've had to use a bottled water every time here, I look forward to not wearing flip flops in the shower or all around my hotel room, I can't wait to cook in a kitchen.. with an oven, stove, and kitchen sink! haha.. there is just so much to look forward to! But, there is a down side.. It's going to be incredibly hard to leave Dean here.. :( They aren't quite done with the job yet.. so he'll be flying home the end of October. Unless something comes up, and Titan wants to get here really early!! haha.. But, I will be kept busy with work and family and preparing for Titan! But, it has been a great experience being here in American Samoa.. one I won't forget! Dean and I are so grateful for this opportunity! A special highlight today was the primary program at church! I wish everyone could experience a primary program in American Samoa. I felt the spirit so strong and the kids are absolutely incredible. They all had their parts memorized which weren't just one liners, they were LONG paragraphs, and when they would sing.. they would SING! Almost kind of scream it.. but, it was beautiful and I loved it! Something I never want to forget! :)

Samoa Football Game

Only in American Samoa will there be a dog running across the field and no one cares or does anything about it. There are dogs EVERYWHERE around here!!

Notice the dog.... it kept running  back and forth.. I think it wanted to play!!

The group that went to the football game... (Dean, Mallory, Olivia, Chris, Landon and Kana)

Best Buds

Goof Balls

We had a great time getting out, and watching these Samoans play some football. They hit pretty dang hard!

The Job

This is before they started tearing things up and the rest of the pictures are where they are at now.. They have really come a long way and are working their butts off!! They get about 60 hours for one week!! Dean is beat tired by the weekend! It's a little bit freaky that Dean is repelled off the side of this mountain! I can't wait for them to be further down the hill so he doesn't have to hang in his harness all day!

I am so grateful for such a hard working husband! I love him so much!

3rd Trimester- 28 Weeks

I can't believe I'm in my 3rd trimester! I remember being in my 1st thinking WOW 3rd trimester seems forever away! And now it's here... And it's coming fast!!! It's been a great pregnancy so far and I feel so lucky and blessed. I've really missed my family being here in Samoa and am counting down the days till I go home! I'm so excited to start my family and bring this little boy into this world!

Boys will be Boys..

Boys will always be boys.. We went to the beach on a Saturday afternoon and the waves were out of control. They were so powerful that when Dean got in the water he was like 600 feet down the coast in a matter of seconds!! It freaked me out! I saw him trying to swim back to shore and he wasn't getting any closer! The other guys went down to help him out but he eventually made his way back before he hit a pile of rocks. So, instead of playing in the water they decided to play a game of "smear the queer" with a coconut they found on the beach. They were hilarious!! The last 2 pictures are of them checking out their battle wounds of getting tackled!! The things I have to look forward to with this little boy of mine!

26 Weeks

Well, I'm 26 weeks today and I have 97 days to go till my due date. Which is November 27th but I have had a feeling from the very beginning that I'm going to go early. So hopefully it will be less. This last week I have really started to notice my cyatic nerve pain. Man it is a KILLER. It almost feels like I'm paralyzed cause if I move it's like a lighting bolt of pain. I hope this isn't a new thing and I'll continue to have it. I hope it passes soon. It's not fun! I was told to just stretch and maybe get a massage. Which sounds GREAT! I will definitely do that. I'm getting more and more excited to meet this little guy with everyday that passes.. and the days are passing FAST.. I can't believe it!! So much to look forward to!

Christmas Shopping

Yes, this is Roxy's Christmas present that we got her here in Samoa. I can't wait to give it to her! I wonder if she'll try to pick it up in her mouth, or if she'll be able to chew on it. All I know is it will make for a great photo shoot! haha!! We love our pups and we MISS HER LIKE CRAZY!!!
